No, parent coaching is not covered under insurance.
Do I need to have my child enrolled at FCI to attend Parent Coaching?
Not at all! I work with families all over the country. You do not have to be local to Florida or enrolled at the clinic to take part in Parent Coaching.
My child is suicidal, what should I do?
If you think that your child is in immediate danger, please go to your nearest children’s hospital or call 911. If you simply have concerns, please call our office to get into our next-available Assessment window with one of our Mental Health Counselors (in person or telehealth). Once we establish the safety of your child, we can get you set up with parent coaching.
If I live in the Jacksonville area, can I attend a Parent Coaching session in person?
Yes. We do have in-person options as well as Telehealth.
What information should I have ready for our first coaching session?
Please have the initial questions that you received at booking filled out. If your child does have any diagnostic paperwork, please have that ready to email to Dr. Baker during the session.
Will we discuss rescheduling during the first coaching session?
Yes. Once we determine what your specific needs are, we will work on scheduling your ongoing sessions.
