Serving Our Community
Serving our community is one of our core values, which is why we are proud to support the Sanctuary on 8th Street. The Sanctuary supports education and opportunity for children and families at hope in North Jacksonville through a variety of services including after-school programs and summer camps. FCI is committed to providing services to the children, families, and staff of the Sanctuary. Since 2020, our team has provided weekly counseling services to children in Sanctuary programs. We also provide staff coaching and positive parenting classes to cultivate strong support systems for Sanctuary children.
Dr. Cat Baker has been involved with the Sanctuary since high school, initially through volunteering. Since 2017 she has served on the Board of Directors and currently serves as the President of the Board. In addition to her board responsibilities, she helps Sanctuary children improve their lives and achieve their dreams by providing behavior analysis, along with other services, on a regular basis.
